The singer posted a series of photos on Instagram that teased the name of her new single, set to be released sometime next month. As her most loyal Little Monsters could probably guess, the name of her new single is “Perfect Illusion.” The track will be released in September and as a source close to the singer has confirmed, it will be produced by the ever-present Mark Ronson, BloodPop, Gaga herself and Kevin Parker from Tame Impala.

The singer has yet to release more info on the song; fans are still waiting for a specific release date or even some more information about a possible album. In a recent interview, legendary singer Tony Bennett talked about a possible sequel to his collaborative effort with the singer, Cheek to Cheek, which was released back in 2014. Bennett said that he has spoken to the singer about a second album and he’s hopeful that they are going to come up with something just as incredible as their first collab.

Her spokesperson confirmed that no additional details about the single are available at this time. ArtPop was Gaga’s last solo effort, and while she’s been playing her cards pretty close to the chest, her producers are less coy when it comes to publicity. Mark Ronson posted a picture on his Instagram page back in May, captioned “Illusion,” which indicated that Gaga is working on a new album with BloodPop and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker.

The singer is almost definitely working on a new album, but so far she’s keeping everything under wraps. All we know is that she has been working with well-established industry names like Moroccan record producer RedOne, who spoke to Billboard about one of their first sessions together. “She has a cleaner life and I have a cleaner life now — I see her happy, smiling like the girl that I knew before,” RedOne told Billboard. “She’s in a really beautiful place.”

It remains to be seen what she comes up with, but whatever it is, it needs to be huge. She took some time off from music to pursue an acting career; she was even awarded with a Golden Globe for her performance in American Horror Story. Gaga is hoping that Illusion will pave the way for a successful album. So far, the demand is there, all that remains is for her to deliver.
